2W Improv
Getting its name from its parent company, 2W Productions, 2W Improv was created as the result of a partnership with the Columbia Entertainment Company to offer classes to COMO.
2W Improv is a dynamic training center dedicated to teaching the art of improvisation and sketch comedy. With a five-level curriculum, our classes guide you from the fundamentals of improv through advanced character work, scene development, and sketch writing. Whether you're a beginner looking to build confidence or a performer aiming to create a full sketch show, 2W Improv provides a supportive, high-energy space to grow your skills, take creative risks, and have a blast doing it.
Colin Bowles
Founder - Instructor
Colin is an improviser and filmmaker originally from Indianapolis, with over a decade of improv experience.
He began his comedy journey in Indianapolis before moving to Chicago, where he completed training at both The Second City and iO Chicago. There, he quickly became a regular performer with multiple improv troupes and sketch teams, including his two-person troupe Wannabes. Colin was also a member of an iOC Network house sketch team during his time in the city. Colin also served as a staff writer for The Bob & Tom Show for 8 years.
In 2022, Colin relocated to Los Angeles, where he continued honing his craft at The Groundlings and performed as part of the house improv troupe at LA Connection.
Colin's excited to share the power of improv and sketch as a tool for creativity, connection, and getting out of your own head - just as it’s done for him.
